Support National Suicide Prevention Day

This year's World Suicide Prevention Day was September 10 and the theme was "one world connected." SOS Help was represented on the day with fellow organisations at the "village associative" held to raise awareness at the market in Place Baudoyer.

If you have a blog or newsletter, feel free to us to help raise awareness of our emotional support line and support National Suicide Prevention Day. You can grab our button at the bottom of our sponsors page.

Writers at the Residence

The event, hosted by Lady Westmacott at the Residence at the British Embassy, was a huge success. The panel was led by Bryce Corbett and featured 5 other prominent writers: Stephen Clarke, Alec Lobrano, Michael Sadler, Heather Stimmler-Hall (check out her blog post about SOS Help), and Charles Timoney. After a lighthearted discussion about life in France, the 200+ crowd mingled with the authors during a reception. We raffled off 7 books signed by the authors and also had the opportunity to purchase books to be signed by the authors.

We want to thank Lady Westmacott, all of the authors, WH Smith, and everyone who attended the event, making it an enjoyable evening in support of SOS Help.
