SOS Book Sale (UPDATE: Postponed)
UPDATE: Due to ongoing concerns over the COVID-19 virus, the SOS Booksale has been postponed until further notice. We'll let you know the moment we have a new date. Stay safe everyone!
The annual spring SOS Booksale is on its way. There are a few small changes for this sale (including donation policy) so please be sure and read all the details below. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
SOS Help Booksale
Sunday March 22, 2020 from 12 noon to 4pm.
American Cathedral, 23 avenue George V, 75008 Paris.
WHEN TO DONATE:
We are sorry that we can no longer undertake any book collections before the sale. Donations in limited quantity (i.e., not more than the donor can carry, or two big bags) will be accepted at the Cathedral by the SOS Help team between 11am and 1pm on Saturday 21 March as well as during the sale itself.
The Cathedral asks us to emphasize that, for security reasons, no donations may be left at any time at or near the front office of the Cathedral.
WHAT TO DONATE:
Please note that we can only accept books in English and in good, saleable condition. Our volunteers do not have the resources to recycle unsuitable items (i.e. torn, dirty and unsellable books). Please bear that in mind when preparing your donations.
Our best-sellers are thrillers, mysteries, sci-fi and general fiction, and we welcome those donations. Children's books in good condition are accepted as well.
We cannot accept books on IT, business, computers, guides to machine use, or out-of-date travel guides; we also do not accept school text books (unless literary anthologies).
Thank you to all for helping SOS Help to keep listening!
